44-016 the «Ralph and Joy Swann» started a new life in the Falkland Islands in 1998. She is now owned by the owner of the Port Howard Lodge, who uses the «West Swann» (as she is now known) as a tourist boat.

Her new name comes from an island in the Falkland Sound called West Swan but the owner has retained the double N in Swann to retain a link with her old name.

Among her new duties, she takes tourists to see the penguins on West Swan and other islands in the Falkland Sound. She also ferries people and freight across the sound to Port San Carlos on the East and will probably be used for inshore fishing.
